August 17, 2017 | Donna Beam

Edukey are BETT Award winners for Class Charts

Since their establishment in June 2014 by inspirational ex Teacher Duncan Wilson

this Award Winning EdTech company – Edukey – who want to unlock Teachers potential,

have continued to grow.

This summer sees Duncan employing a further 6 local people, again mainly previous pupils,

to boost his Service and Support wing of the company as it moves into the consolidation

phase of his 10 year initial business plan.

Duncan said, “It’s really brilliant to be able to put more resource into looking after all those customers who have put their faith and trust in our products and to see the rewards of all the effort we put into designing and testing these products in the real world scenarios that Teachers face every day”

“Our first priority is to make sure that Teachers understand how to use our tools to get the most out of them and see the very maximum Return on Investment, that is only fair on cash strapped schools”

“We then offer free unlimited Support on any technical or functional issues so that the Teacher is always completely happy that they are driving the software at full rev’s.  To offer great support we employ great people and we now have 10 strong Service and Support indivduals purely dedicated to looking after our customers”

“We pride ourselves on the amazing team and team atmosphere we foster here – that are all dedicated to providing unparalleled levels of Service and Support – our Support and Feedback statistics speak for themselves”

Georgina Theobald, Data Manager at Harefield Academy Said, “I really love the way you and your support team (especially Jamie B) are so responsive.”

With further high level support and endorsement from within the industry – including this year’s BETT award for ICT Leadership and Management solutions, Duncan is keen to take his band of merry Techies and Support staff into the next phase of his Great Plan – keep watching this space for further news on their latest developments.

Secretary of State for Wales visits Edukey

January 29, 2016 | Duncan Wilson

Edukey were proud to host the Secretary of State for Wales, Stephen Crabb MP, at our Fishguard Offices today.  Stephen was invited to meet the team and discuss the benefits and challenges of running a global Ed Tech company from his picturesque constituency of Pembrokeshire.

Steve Crabb Visits Edukey Class Charts Behaviour Management

As Mr Crabb is embarking on a trade mission across Wales to find and support global exporting companies, the opportunity to learn as much as he did about Education Technology and exactly how we can operate outside of the typical City of London bubble was invaluable.

The meeting was immensely helpful for our director, Duncan, and Stephen with a number of follow up meetings and lines of communications opening to support Edukey’s growth and infrastructure.

As we continue to grow, both in employees and clients, the support of local government and councils will be invaluable.  Having Stephen’s full support is extremely validating for all of us at Edukey and we look forward to working closely with him in the future.

Edukey are Education Investor Award Finalists

August 22, 2015 | Duncan Wilson

We have again been short-listed as Education Investor Award finalists – fantastic!

These awards recognise innovation and achievement in the education technology sector. We made the short-list last year, dug out our dinner jackets, and had a great night at the awards, but unfortunately did not win. This year we are again hoping to top the list and come away with an award for all of our hard work and efforts. We are in the same category as our good friends over at Classroom Monitor and are sharing a table with them – good luck guys (but I still hope we beat you!).

Class Charts hits the USA!

July 5, 2015 | Duncan Wilson

We have quite a few US schools using the seating plan and behaviour management features of Class Charts, so we headed over to ISTE 2015 in Philadelphia to show US teachers how we roll.

This was the first time in the States for us and it was a real eye opener. We found the US teachers to be a really friendly bunch and learnt a great deal about how Class Charts fits in with the schools over there. Feedback was brilliantly positive with teachers and school principals getting really excited when we showed them the artificial intelligence and behaviour analysis features that we pack into Class Charts.

Next year ISTE is in Denver, Colorado – we will be there!
